Though it had certainly made things interesting for a bit, Eliot was glad that things on the ship were back to normal. He'd also noticed some newcomers around - the white haired elf, his equally hot friend. And... was that another one? He moved a little closer, hoping to get a better look at him.

"I was the love and comfort a woman wished for on a night of blood and fists and sorrow," Willy said. "Had she wished for a child and a decent father, she would have had that. But all your mother wanted was...a bang up job. Be mad at her, not me."

"Yeah well, I got my share of blood and fists and sorrow too," Eliot muttered, though he really should stop being sorry for himself. "Did you even know about me?"

"No. Why would I?" he asked. "Do you know about all of your children?"

He asked it with a bit of a laugh. How ridiculous. Willy certainly had offspring in every land he'd been to.

"Yes," Eliot said. Because he didn't fuck women. With one exception.

"But great. Fun knowing there's a non-zero chance I've fucked a sibling."

[willysilver]

"My friend, no one of fae blood will ever find your bitter heart attractive. I feel confident all your lovers have been mortals," he said in an attempt to assure him.

"Maybe I'm not bitter towards everyone, maybe you're special," Eliot retorted. "And I did kiss a fae recently."

"One with free will or one of the ship's captives?" he asked then.

[eliot_thespectacular]

"One of?" Eliot asked, frowning. Fucking hell, was there more than just Nyx?

[willysilver]

"One of," he confirmed with a nod.

[eliot_thespectacular]

"Who?" Eliot demanded. "Besides Nyx."

[willysilver]

"All of them," Willy replied, a touch confused.

"There is no freedom at sea for fae."

[eliot_thespectacular]

"Fox and Winter?" Eliot asked, seeming confused himself. "And then why are you here?"

[willysilver]

"I chose temporary captivity over permanent imprisonment," he replied. "When we find land again, I will carry on."

[eliot_thespectacular]

Eliot sighed and slumped a little in his chair. "Well I'm sure I'll never see you again, but my name's Eliot, in case you care."

[willysilver]

"I do not," he replied simply. "And you should be cautious giving your name to any fae, my friend. But since you have, I feel you should know your name is Mac Ogh."

He smiled then, a warmth in his eyes as he studied Eliot a moment.

"You gave me your name," Eliot pointed out... then frowned. "What do you mean, that's my name?"

[willysilver]

"I gave you a name, Eliot," he said, the power of the man's name sparking a shiver. "Willy Silver is known, but it is a name I chose. My name...your name...Mac Ogh is your birthright."

In this moment, any doubt that Eliot had had that the man was telling him the truth evaporated. And so did a lot of the bitterness.

He looked at Willy for a long moment, and then said, "Teach me everything." The words just tumbled out of his mouth.

Willy chuckled warmly then and slipped his arm around Eliot.

"Come, my friend. The sun will soon be down and Kersen will rise. We can then have the quarters to tell you all you need to know."

"Ah, I have quarter too," Eliot said. "What... about you? Are you - did you just get here?"

[willysilver]

"For some time," he replied vaguely. "Would you be more comfortable in your quarters?"

[eliot_thespectacular]

"Oh, no it doesn't really matter. If you don't think it's a problem to trespass in a vampire's home."

[willysilver]

Willy blinked at him.

"We are on a ship," he said. "It is not his home. But if you are scared, lead me to yours."

Eliot frowned. "I'm not scared," he said indignantly. "Fine. let's go. His room is probably nicer than mine anyway."

"Why do you think that?" Willy asked curiously.
