Though it had certainly made things interesting for a bit, Eliot was glad that things on the ship were back to normal. He'd also noticed some newcomers around - the white haired elf, his equally hot friend. And... was that another one? He moved a little closer, hoping to get a better look at him.

In this moment, any doubt that Eliot had had that the man was telling him the truth evaporated. And so did a lot of the bitterness.

He looked at Willy for a long moment, and then said, "Teach me everything." The words just tumbled out of his mouth.

Willy chuckled warmly then and slipped his arm around Eliot.

"Come, my friend. The sun will soon be down and Kersen will rise. We can then have the quarters to tell you all you need to know."

"Ah, I have quarter too," Eliot said. "What... about you? Are you - did you just get here?"

[willysilver]

"For some time," he replied vaguely. "Would you be more comfortable in your quarters?"

"Oh, no it doesn't really matter. If you don't think it's a problem to trespass in a vampire's home."

[willysilver]

Willy blinked at him.

"We are on a ship," he said. "It is not his home. But if you are scared, lead me to yours."

Eliot frowned. "I'm not scared," he said indignantly. "Fine. let's go. His room is probably nicer than mine anyway."

[willysilver]

"Why do you think that?" Willy asked curiously.

[eliot_thespectacular]

Eliot shrugged. “I don’t know. He’s been here a while and he seems like someone who probably enjoys decorating.” Pause. “Are you friends?”

[willysilver]

"I am friends with everyone," he dodged.

And flashed Eliot a not-terribly-reassuring smile.

"Mmhmm," said Eliot. "I think we have a lot to learn about each other. Lead the way."

[willysilver]

Willy took him to the door and opened it. He was not about to offend Eliot with a room finer than his own, so a simple glamour had the quarters as they'd been when Willy had come aboard. Kersen had a fine space, and comfortable.

"Oh... well I guess these are all rather similar then," Eliot said as he stepped inside.

[willysilver]

"Did you think the vampire would have a window?" Willy chuckled as he flopped comfortably onto the bed.

[eliot_thespectacular]

"I suppose not," said Eliot. "Also I don't really know him. Saw him in drag once though. Kind of hot."

[willysilver]

"Take care with such thoughts. Vampires can be dangerous," he cautioned. "Your blood is more pleasant than a mere mortal."

[eliot_thespectacular]

"A year ago I would have been exceedingly into that idea," Eliot said, and flopped onto the bed, looking up at the ceiling.

[willysilver]

That gave Willy pause and he slowly turned his head to look at him.

"Oh?" he asked, anticipating a tale.

[eliot_thespectacular]

"I was just more self destructive than I am now," Eliot said. "And that would have been perfect."

[willysilver]

"Ah," Willy nodded in understanding.

"A phase I passed through, as well, when I was first in the world," he mentioned, soft and casual, though it was weighty in a way nothing he'd yet said had been.

It was honesty.

"Yeah?" Eliot said. "Did I get some bad life choices genes? Because that would explain a lot."

[willysilver]

"Perhaps," he replied with a soft, sad smile.

"I have made...choices," was his explanation.

[eliot_thespectacular]

Eliot looked at him for a moment and then asked, "Did you know I existed?"

[willysilver]

"I did not," he answered. "And it would not surprise me to learn you have brothers and sisters all over the lands I have traveled."

[eliot_thespectacular]

"Well if I'd had any lingering desire to fuck women, you've just cured me of it," Eliot said with a snort.
